Back in 2021, after years of working in-house on creative projects for major Australian brands, Sam noticed an interesting pattern. Traditionally, ads were ran by media buyers with a set-and-forget mindset. So he decided to do something different; take his creative approach and apply it to the world of paid ads. This strategic approach not only helped him grow his founder-led social media to 800k+ followers, but sparked the idea for Pulp - an agency, but 'Not Your Average Agency'.
As Pulp began to pioneer the paid ads space in Australia, Sam noticed another gap in the market - brands not properly leveraging short form content as an organic sales engine. This is when he founded Zesty, a creative agency showing brands how to go viral without experience, big budgets, or guesswork. This was the catalyst to consistently going viral and generate 7-figure results for our clients (and ourselves).
Over time, creative ads and strategic content stayed at the forefront of the marketing & advertising industry, shaping it in ways where brands who didn't keep up, were left behind. From brands harnessing TikTok & Reels to drive millions in revenue, through to Meta's Andromeda update demanding creativity, one thing is clear - it's not a nice to have, it's a must. So, we made the decision to blend Zesty into Pulp. The recipe consisting of creative ideation and profitable ads - transforming 'good' brands, into 'great'.
